Parks Canada has provided a virtual doorway to explore Canada's national historic military sites. Online tours enable the user to travel to the sites of famous battles or view a famous building. Both virtual and text tours are available.

Part history and part adventure story, this interactive resource is intended to aid students in understanding the experience of the First World War from a soldier's point of view. Links to added information on the war are provided for users as well as a link to suggestions for teachers.

Each year on June 21, National Aboriginal Day is celebrated. Canadian Aboriginal Veterans have reason to be proud of their wartime contributions. More than 7,000 Indians served in the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War, and an unknown number of Inuit, Métis and non-status Indians also participated. One Aboriginal Veterans group estimates that 12,000 Natives served in the three wars.

This publication offers nine examples of Canadian campaigns chosen from different periods of history. It also includes a very brief history of the development of Canadian Army organization. The Principles of War, in the form adopted by the Canadian Chiefs of Staff, are printed as an appendix.
